Rolling Ball Sculpture #134 - Watch Video

This freestanding sculpture measures 700mm across and 2 metres tall. It includes tall spirals, loops, multiball, flat spirals, two sets of balls on track, serpentine and a lengthened zigzag. The perforated steel base allows for the marbles to roll off the ends of the tracks and collect underneath to rejoin the helical lift back to the top. I have built two new components that feature in this sculpture. One of which is a multiball release lever, and a pendulum catcher. The sculpture is powdercoated in matte black and uses multi coloured 25mm marbles.
