Rolling Ball Sculpture #117 - Watch Video

A semi-automated wall mounted sculpture measuring 600mm in diameter and 150mm deep. It uses 25mm glass marbles and is powder coated in a clear coat. This is the first of my new style of wall mounted sculpture which features a barrel lid as a background for the sculpture. Along with this, I have recently developed a new release mechanism for the marbles. It can be used as a tipping arm and a manual release mechanism as will be shown in future sculptures. It has affectionately been nicknamed the "PacMan" switch.
